For the man in my life...

Gotham City Lounge
, a comic-themed bar in Bushwick, Brooklyn has the makings of a dream come true for the man in my life: comic posters, figurines and Rock Band on the weekends! Perhaps the perfect place to celebrate on Dec.17th...

Get Away

What better way to spend a sunny Autumn day than out on the wide open seas? The Staten Island ferry departs from the Whitehall St terminal every half hour...and it's free! Pack a sandwich and get on the boat!

Now come on back

LP & P by Catherine Fung and Yoko Furusho have collaborated on an installation in Fung's Soho store. The opening reception tonight from 6-9pm includes Yoko's work and free cocktails...two good reasons to take the boat back from S.I.

The Happy Ending Music and Reading Series should be the next stop on your tour de free-dom.
