Do: walk/run for the women of the congo

on saturday i'm participating in a 5k run for congo women- an event that aims to raise funds which will give women who have survived the congo conflict the tools they need to rebuild their lives as well as provide them with rights education, vocational and technical skills and leadership training. the organization, women for women international, is really amazing and inspiring and i highly recommend learning more about them.

if this sounds like something you'd be interested in doing, there are many runs scheduled all over the country in the coming year.
