not up for baking ghoulish goodies and serving spooky cocktails? there are soooo many halloween parties happening, it's hard to choose:

Flavorpill's Gods and Heroes party: Secret location, live music, open bar with purchase of ticket, $35 (proceeds benefit charity: water)

The Danger's 3-stop Soiree: 3 Bushwick lots converted into The Chapel, The Sanctuary and The Ever After host live music, art and costume contest, $20

or turn your trick'or'treats into leftover halloween candy cookies

throw a party, invite all of your friends

it's no secret that i have a bit of an affinity for the furry faced menfolk. thanks to my papa i am now aware that november is officially national beard month!!!!! an entire month to celebrate the follicle-endowed faces of the world? please and thank you. take a moment to reflect on the facial hair in your life- or to plan how you will observe this national holiday.

happy hallo-week!



are any of you as excited and spooked as i am??? halloween miiight be my fave holiday and i honestly don't give a thought to how i'll be spending the eve until the finishing touches on my costume are complete- it's the most important part! for the next few days i will be obsessing over punkins, goblins, faux spider webs on brownstone railings and the making of baberaham lincoln.
